Story Contest Announcement!

TDN is looking for stories written by students to include on TheDigitalNest.com. We are looking for interesting and informative stories that relate to Hillcrest and our community. $50 in gift-cards will be awarded to the best submitted stories to http://thedigitalnest.com/contact

Prizes:

First Place = $15 Quiznos and $10 Starbucks
Second Place = $10 Starbucks and $5 Yogurtology
Third Place = $5 Starbucks
Fourth Place = $5 Starbucks

Contest Rules:
1. Stories must relate to Hillcrest, our community, and reflect the TDN Mission Statement:
We are committed to providing the HMS community with fair and balanced reporting on relevant topics. Our focus will be on those who demonstrate a passion for community, education, and positivity. Our promise is to deliver content that will make, not break, your day.

2. Stories must be original and created entirely by one student. Any source material (information, images, etc.) must be cited.

3. Stories are limited to 500 words. Photos, video, weblinks, etc. are encouraged.

4. TDN staff members and advisers have the final judgement for all submitted stories.

5. Deadline to submit stories to http://thedigitalnest.com/contact is Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 at Noon MST.
