Restaurant Review: Texas Roadhouse

The other day, I enjoyed some absolutely delicious food at Pei Wei. I also recently went to the Texas Roadhouse and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. First of all, the floor was totally atrocious! They find it acceptable to give a bucket full of peanuts to the tables and allow customers to throw the shells on the floor. Although it is convenient and carefree, I didn’t expect the food to parellel the condition of the floors.

Although it is a steakhouse, I ordered a burger because if a steakhouse is going to have a burger on the menu it should be unexpectedly good; however, after waiting 15 minutes (if not more) for my food, I took a few bites and found it to be not rare, but raw. If I had finished it, I could have received food poisoning! Also, after sending back the raw meat, I then received a new burger straight from the manager. Satisfied that I got a new burger, I dug in only to find that the burger I ordered medium well was now burnt and I couldn’t finish it.

The final straw was when the bacon on the new burger was raw. I then sent it back only to get the same bacon back, just cooked a little bit more. Horrifying!!!

The only thing I enjoyed about this visit was the bread and the fries. Good thing I accidentally filled up on bread before the meal because I wouldn’t have wanted to finish the burger. I might have gone hungry.

This place truly is the best place to go if what you’re looking for is incompetent cooks. Save yourself a bit of disappointment by taking this article to heart. See ya around, but hopefully not at Texas Roadhouse.
