Iron Man Suit for Military?

27 Feb 2014 by Shilo Smith, No Comments »

Everyone knows the iconic Iron Man. What if real heroes started wearing a suit identical to his? The new suit will be much more safe than what they have now. Some examples of what is being tested are:

Display- Yes a display, the helmet will have a display that shows relevant feedback about what is going on. It will also have a variety of sensors that will help in combat.

Armor- The armor will help in many ways. Using a special materiel that turns liquid into sold in a millisecond. They can also withstand explosions. It will also, if a soldier does get hurt, release a chemical that will help heal the wound and stop bleeding.

Health- Inside the suit there are systems that monitor vitals. Body temperature, heart rate, oxygen levels, etc.

Power- Another system  inside the suite is wearable computers. Management systems and also a programmable radio! It also has it’s own oxygen.

Mobility- The exoskeleton will be powered in a way that will help enhance mobility.

Weight- This super suite is surprisingly light! It minimizes the load with major protection.

It is estimated to be fully functional by 2018.
