Did you hear the big news? Hillcrest is getting the first 3D printer in the Deer Valley Unified School District. A 3D printer is a printer that brings a 2 dimensional drawing into a 3D object.

The first ever working 3D printer was created by Chuck Hull in 1984.  The 3D printing technology is used for both prototyping and modeling. The 3D printer is used with a computer program called, Google SketchUp. This printer is a big help to our world. The printer will be used in S.T.E.M. and other subjects.  Our 3D printer will arrive this Fall 2013, from Airwolf 3D.
