Book Review-Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Cinder, a 16 year old cyborg, lives in New Beijing, with her stepmother and her 2 stepsisters, Pearl and Peony. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past and is reviled by her stepmother. But when her life becomes intertwined with Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself in the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets from her past in order to protect her world’s future. Because there is something unusual about Cinder, something others would kill for.

I personally loved this book, because it is very interesting, and will keep the reader on the edge of their seat (even if they’re not on a seat)! This book is full of heartbreaking and non-expected surprises! This book is writing beautifully and is one of the best books I’ve ever read! I would honestly suggest this book to anybody who loves suspense and science fiction! I’m hardly ever into a series, and I can tell this will be an amazing one. Marissa Meyer has defiantly written an amazing series and I am so personally invested and I can’t wait to read Scarlet (the sequel)!

“Do your kind even know what love is? Can you feel anything at all, or is it just… programmed?”
